Children of CORA LYNN YOUKER and DR. JAMES HARVEY NOBLE:
Eau Claire Argus, June 5, 18793740
Dr. J. H. Noble, was married to Miss Cory L. Youker, at Corry, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday of last week. The doctor has played his cards quietly and made his point; he preferred a youker to a lone hand, and we thus score the game in his favor.

Word reached Eau Claire yesterday from widely-different sections of the country, bringing the news of the deaths of two of the old-time and prominent citizens of this place. From Roswell, N. M., came the announcement of the death of Dr. James H. Noble, prominent physician and former state senator, and from Minnesota the news of the passing away of Bentley S. Phillips, former city treasurer.
The word of Dr. Noble's death came from his son, George Curtis Noble, and was a telegram to Judge A. J. Marsh, of this city, one of the closest friends of the family. Death had come at midnight on Friday and members of the family will leave Roswell for Eau Claire today with the remains; and they will probably arrive in Eau Claire Tuesday morning.
Further announcement in regard to the funeral and interment will be made.
The news of Dr. Noble's death is received in Eau Claire with most sincere sorrow.
Dr. James H. Noble was born March 30, 1851, in Dane County, Wis. He studied in the public schools of Madison and preparatory department of the State University, afterwards taking up the study of medicine at Hahnemann Medical College of Chicago, from which he graduated in 1871 and the same year located at Eau Claire. He was for eight years a member of the Board of Education and part of that time its president. He was elected to the state senate in 1904.
He left Eau Claire about two years ago, went to Colorado, then to New Mexico, in the vain hope of regaining his health.
