Elaine E. Gochenour
Elaine Elizabeth Painter Gochenour, 72, 7638 Back Road, Maurertown, died Sunda, Jul 16, 2000, at her home.
Mrs. Gochenour was born March 24, 1928, in Edinburg, and was the daughter of the late Richard H. and Grace Wisman Painter.
She was a 1945 graduate of Edinburg High School and had worked at Woodstock Coat Manufacturing. She was a homemaker and a member of Maurertown Brethren Church.
Surviving are her husband, Carroll M. Gochenour; a son, Gary R. Gochenour, Maurertown; a daughter, Sharon K. Gochenour, Woodstock; and two sisters, Mildred Painter, Camelot Health and Rehabilitation Center, Harrisonburg, and Wanda L. Middleton, Mew Market.
The Rev. Richard Craver will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Dellinger Funeral Home, Woodstock. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Fairview.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
