The marriage of Miss Betty M. Pardoe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Pardoe, 645 Woodbine street, to Frank H. Putt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. Putt, 9 West Adams street, South Enola, was solemnized Sunday afternoon in the parsonage of the Enola Church of God, with the Rev. J. Clair Witmer officiating.
The bride was attired in an aquamarine street length dress with black accessories. A reception was held following the ceremony at the home of the bridegroom's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Putt, Mechanicsburg, R. D. 4.
The bride is a graduate of William Penn High School, and has been employed by Goodman Cleaners.
Mr. Putt, who attended Enola High School, served three years in the Army, two of which were spent overseas in the European theatre. He is now with the Pennsylvania Railroad.

York Haven — Frank H. Putt, 37, a resident here since Sept. 1, died suddenly at 11:300 a.m. yesterday at his home, Main street. Deputy County Coroner, Dr. Donald R. Gross, attributed death to an acute coronary occlusion.
The husband of Mrs. Betty May Putt, he was born at West Fairview, Pa., and with his family had moved to Mechanicsburg RD 4. A member of Hecton Methodist church, north of Harrisburg, he was employed by Pennsylvania railroad for 20 years. Mr. Putt was a veteran of World War II, having served as a staff sergeant in Company A, 70th Tank battalion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Leonard, Marcia, Shirley and Anita Putt, all at home, and these 10 brothers and sisters, Augustus, William Harry, ray and John Putt and Mrs. Betty Eslinger all of Mounted Route, Enola; Mrs. Margaret Bricker, Newville RD 1; Mrs. Dorothy Kauffman, Summerdale, and Mrs. Ruth Conlon and Donald Putt, both of Bedford RD 4.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Cassel's Christian and Missionary Alliance church, near here. Rev. Bernard Rife, pastor of Hecton Methodist church, will officiate assisted by Rev. R. A. McVicker, minister of Cassel's church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Diehl Funeral home, Mt. Wolf, is in charge of arrangements.

Betty M. Collins, 93, of Roswell, NM, was born in Harrisburg, PA to John W. Pardoe and Verna Weaver on August 27, 1926. She passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 20, 2019.
She was preceded in death by husband Frank W. Putt; Albert J. Collins, son Leonard W. Putt, daughter Anita L. Putt Shirley and great granddaughter Ashley Romine.
Betty is survived by 2 daughters: Marcia L. Putt Gochenaur and Shirley J. Putt Nease; 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 115 West 11th St., Roswell, NM on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. Burial to be in York Haven, PA.
Betty never wavered in her faith in Jesus. She enjoyed the Susquehanna River and the Millersburg Ferry Boat. She loved her family. Betty loved to go fishing & bird watching. Betty loved gospel hymns. She will be dearly missed by all the lives she touched.
