John W. Pardoe III, 72, of 250 E. Main St., Shiremanstown, died Wednesday in Conestoga View Nursing Home, Lancaster.

He was a machinist for Keystone Railway Inc. and a Navy veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Norma Pardoe; a brother, Alfred C. of California; five sisters, Sara Nell of New Cumberland, Betty Collins of Millersburg, Verna Adams of California, June Gallagher of Lemoyne and Lois Reed of Linglestown.

Services will be private.

Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Colonial Park, is handling arrangements.
