George Haggett, Retired Farmer

TWINSBURG — Services for George Haggett, 79, of 2650 Aurora rd., were today from the Johonson funeral home. Burial was in Locust Grove cemetery.

Mr. Haggett, a life resident of Twinsburg and a retired farmer, died Saturday in Brentwood Hospital, Warrensville Heights, after a short illness.

A 50-year member of the Twinsburg Grange, Mr. Haggett formerly drove a school bus for the Twinsburg school system.

He leaves his wife, Alta; sons, Harold Walton, Bedford; Clyde Halbritter, Sacramento, Cal.; daughters, Mrs. Blanche Kammer, Middleburg Heights; Mrs. Hazel Imars, Hiram; 15 grandchildren, and 12 great-granchildren.

TWINSBURG — Alta Haggett (nee Peck) was the wife of the late George Haggett and Melvin G. Walton; dear mother of Harold Walton; foster mother of Clyde Halbritter, Blanche Kammer and Hazel Imars; grandmother of 15; great-grandmother of 12; and dear aunt.

Graveside services are 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 1979 at Roselawn Cemetery, Solon. Friends received at the Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 521 Broadway, Bedford (232-1441), 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
