RICHMOND, Ind., Nov. 29.—Sergt. Cousineau Stearns, a veteran of the Ypres, Paschendaele, Vimy Ridge and Sommes battles, will be married here Saturday to Miss Florence Reid Penland, a munition worker of Indianapolis. Miss Penland is a niece of William F. Reid of this city. Stearns enlisted with the Princess Pat Regiment in Canada in 1914. In August, 1917, he transferred to the American expeditionary forces after service with the Forty-eighth Highlanders and the Third King Royal Rifles. He was among the first of the Rainbow Division to return to America.
Sergt. Stearns was at the Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D. C., from May 17 to Aug. 23. He has scars of battle on his head and shoulders. He has five medals for bravery in action. His home before enlistmetn was San Antonio, Tex.

Mrs. George J. Muszar, R. R. 10, Box 516, was struck and killed by a train at the Pennsylvania Railroad crossing near Fenton Avenue as she walked along the tracks.

Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Muszar, 47 years old, 8405 Beechwood Avenue, who was killed by a train Monday, will be conducted at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the Tolin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Richmond.
A resident of Indianapolis most of her life, she was a member of the Quaker Church at Richmond.
Survivors include the husband, George J. Muszar, and her mother, Mrs. Anna Penland, India[na]polis.

George Muszar, 75, 8435 Beechwood, died yesterday at his home.
He came into his home after mowing his lawn, suffered a heart attack and died.
Eight years ago Muszar retired after 35 years as an interior decorator.
He was a member of Meadlawn Christian Church and of the church board and was a deacon in the church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Dorsey Funeral Home.
Survivors — widow Grace; stepdaughters Mrs.Jess Garrison and Thelma Meyer.
