Funeral services for Harry Penland aged 34 years, who died Tuesday at Laport, Ind., will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the home of John Taylor on Northwest Fifth street. The Rev. E. L. Gates, pastor of Third Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham cemetery.
The cause of death was a hemorrhage of the lungs. He was born in Richmond and lived here most of his life. He was a member of the Eagles' lodge at Muncie. He is survived by his father, Dora Penland, who resides here; his mother and sister who live in Indianapolis.

Mrs. Erma R. Page, 75, 1601 New Paris Pike, died at her home late Monday night.
She formerly was a cook at Connie's Restaurant. She came to Richmond from Cedar Grove, in 1913.
She was member of the Women of the Moose.
Surviving are her husband, Paul (Earl) Page; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Ellington, Richmond; one sister, Mrs. Flora Gould, Berkley, Mo.; one brother, Arthur Grable, Marion, Ind., and one nephew.
Services for Mrs. Page will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
