Edward E. Pethick and Miss Anna L. Flewelling were united in marriage at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Williams in Dowagiac. The wedding ceremony took place at five o'clock in the afternoon of August 31, Rev. H. D. Skinner officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Pethick left on the evening train for Bellaire, the bride's home, and will visit East Jordan, Petoskey and Traverse City. They will be at home to their friends in Dowagiac after October 1.

EDWARD PETHICK DIES LAST NIGHT

Edward Pethick, 52, retired restaurant operator, died last night at his home, 908 Highland avenue, following a two years' illness. Mr. Pethick was born in Dowagiac.

Surviving are four brothers, James Pethick, this city, George, of Dowagiac, Donald of Niles and Thomas, of Detroit; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Rowe, Dowagiac, Mrs. Glen Heslet, Niles, and Mrs. Pearl Harvey, Detroit.

The remains are at the Slaughter & Beardlsey funeral home. Arrangements for the funeral are incomplete pending word from relatives.
