He married MYRTLE D. SWINK on July 27, 1893 in Mossy Creek, Augusta, Virginia.¹⁷⁹⁹ She was born March 11, 1871 in Augusta County, Virginia,⁹⁹⁸¹ and died January 3, 1934 in Lakeland, Camden, New Jersey.¹²⁷²⁸ She married (2) Salvatore Oriunno (b. July 11, 1879, Italy⁸).

Obituaries

Harrisonburg Rockingham Register, November 18, 1898²⁶²⁴

News was received here yesterday morning of the death of C.H. Pollard, of Dayton, which occurred not unexpectedly at the Western State Hospital in Staunton. Deceased was about 45 years of age and he had been in the Hospital since last spring. He leaves a widow and two children. His remains will be brought here and then taken to Dayton for burial.

MRS. M. D. POLLARD

Mrs. M. D. Pollard, formerly of this city and county, died Jan. 3 at Lakeland, N. J.; just one year to the day after her sister, Mrs. L. E. Markell, passed away in Philadelphia.

Mrs. Pollard leaves two children, Mrs. G. T. Selden and Herbert Pollard, of New York city, and one brother, W. J. Swink of this city.
