He married A. LOREE EDSON on April 17, 1926 in Allliance, Box Butte, Nebraska.²²⁸⁴ She was born November 21, 1904 in Nebraska,⁴⁵⁶ and died November 24, 1999 in Wyoming.⁴⁵⁶ She is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Riverton, Fremont, Wyoming.⁴⁵⁶

Loree Edson and Herbert Purinton Married

Saturday evening at 8 o'clock Miss Loree Edson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Edson of Mason City, and Herbert Purinton, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Purinton of Alliance, were married at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Etta Beal, 618 Cheyenne avenue. The Rev. O. D. Lee performed the ceremony. Miss Margaret Schill and Cecil Beal attended the couple. Miss Laura Weaver played the wedding march. The bride's gown was very attractive.

An informal reception followed the ceremony and delicious refreshments were served. The home was decorated in pink and white, lilies and carnations being the flowers used. The young couple left for the country where they will make their future home. The groom is a farmer north of town and the bride attended school here, graduating in 1923 and since has been teaching at Lishman school where she will finish out the term.

The out—0f-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Earl Purinton and daughter of Lincoln; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Berg, son and daughter of Torrington, and Miss Flo Edson of Mason City.
