Quick Services Set Wednesday

ELECTRA, Tex. (Special)—Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the James B. Totten & Son Funeral Home here for Charles Lee Quick, former Electra resident who died in a Wichita Falls hospital Sunday.

Quick had lived in Iowa Park for the past decade.

Rev. Joseph Kopczewski will officiate at funeral services at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis Catholic Church in Electra. Burial will be in the Mount Carmel Cemetery north of Electra, Tooten Funeral Home in charge.

Quick was a retired employe of the Electra Post Office. He moved to Iowa Park on his retirement 10 years ago. He had lived in Electra for about 30 years.

He was a member of the Saint Francis Catholic Church and the Electra Council Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife, Helen, of Iowa Park and a daughter, Mrs. Doris Houk of St. Louis, Mo.

Mrs. Helen Quick Dies At Age Of 82

ELECTRA, Tex. (Special) — Mrs. Helen Houston Quick, 82, a resident of Iowa Park, died Friday afternoon in an Electra rest home.

Born May 21, 1881 in Concordia, Kan., she came to Electra in 1930 and resided there until three years ago when she and her husband, the late Charles L. Quick, moved to Iowa Park. He preceded her in death on January 29.

She married Quick June 23, 1900 in St. Louis, Mo.

Rosary will be said Sunday at 8 p.m. in the chapel of James B. Totten & Son Funeral Home, who is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Electra with the Rev. Father Joseph Kotczewski, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, north of Electra.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Doris Houk of Iowa Park, and a grandson.
