Bride Carries Prayer Book For Rites

BEFORE AN ALTAR decked with flowers in the St. Anthony Chapel of Duns Scotus College, Glenna Marie Reid, daughter of James Curtis Reid, of Kentucky Ave., and the late Mrs. Reid, and Sgt. James Benedict Kehoe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael James Kehoe, of Ilene Ave., were united in marriage on June 10 by the Rev. Father Pius Leabel, of Cincinnati, assisted by Rev. Father George T. Stromske and Rev. Father Walter E. Hennes.

For the double ring ceremony the bride chose a gown of white lace made with a sweetheart neckline, long sleeves and full skirt worn over a hoop. Her finger-tip veil fell from a coronet of lilies of the valley and she carried a mother-of-pearl prayer book to which was fastened a cluster of white orchids. The book was a gift from the bridegroom.

Mrs. Lester Gramlich, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor. Mrs. William Reid and Mrs. Edward Waddell were bridesmaids, and the flower girl was Dorothea Marie Gramlich.

Leon Kehoe, brother of the bridegroom was best man, and the ushers were James Curtis Reid, Jr., of Washington, brother of the bride, and Dr. Joseph Geppert.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at Devon Gables and in the evening a reception was given at the home of the bride. Later Sgt. and Mrs. Kehoe left for a wedding trip to Chicago and Oklahoma. They will live in Belleville, Ill., near Scott Field, where Sgt. Kehoe is stationed.
