ALMA MARZETTA RICHARDSON, daughter of RUBY BODINE HATHAWAY and WALTER W. RICHARDSON, was born June 6, 1913 in Cayuga, Vermillion, Indiana,⁴⁵³² and died October 1, 1993 in Hernando County, Florida.⁹⁹ She is inurned at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens, Spring Hill, Hernando, Florida.⁴⁵⁶

She married CHARLES CLINTON OYLER on April 15, 1932 in Indiana.⁸⁷⁹⁰ He was born August 1, 1906 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky,⁷³⁷⁷ and died November 26, 1987 in Michigan City, LaPorte, Indiana.⁴⁹³¹ He is inurned at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens, Spring Hill, Hernando, Florida.⁴⁵⁶

Charles Oyler

MICHIGAN CITY — Former Valparaiso resident Charles C. Oyler, 81, a Michigan City resident 12 years, Thursday of Michigan City.

He was born Aug. 1, 1906 in Kentucky, a son of Ed and Catherin (Schoene) Oyler, Mr. Oyler was a stock buyer and owner of Valparaiso Stockyards for 32 years. He was a member of First Christian Church of Valparaiso.

He married Alma Richardson, who survives along with a son Charles Jr. of Georgia; a daughter, Katy Jo Shutts of Florida; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother.

Private services, no visitation.

Alma M. Oyler

SPRING HILL, Fla. — Alma M. Oyler, 80, of Spring Hill, Fla., formerly of Valparaiso, died Friday, Oct. 1, 1993. She was a Florida resident for nine years.

She was born June 6, 1913, in Cayuga. She was employed for 10 years at Valparaiso University's Physical Plant Services.

Surviving are a son, Retired Commander Charles C. Oyler, Jr., of Brunswick, Ga.; a daughter, Catherine J. Shutts of Spring, Hill, Fla.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Oyler, who together with Mrs. Oyler operated the Valparaiso Stockyards for many years.

National Cremation & Burial Society, Brooksville, Fla., handled arrangements.
