RICHARD R. HARDIN
TYMAN—Funeral for Richard R. Hardin, 63, brother of Ernest Hardin of Austin, will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Dobie Funeral Home in Mathis, Rev. C. H. Kehl of San Antonio officiating. Burial will be in Tyman Cemetery.
Hardin, a 14-year resident of Tyman, died Saturday. He was principal of Mathis Elementary School for the past seven years. A veteran of World War II, he was a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was an Episcopalian.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lucille R. Hardin of Tyman; two sons, Ernest L. Hardin of Rockport and Richard R. Hardin Jr. of Austin, Minn.; one other brother, Marion M. Hardin of Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters, Mrs. Franklin F. Jones of San Antonio, and Mrs. Herbert R. Martin of Mexia; three grandchildren.
