He married ANNA WITHERSPOON on October 29, 1907 in Carter County, Oklahoma.⁶⁷³⁸ She was born March 21, 1882 in Kentucky,⁴⁵⁶ and died September 7, 1969 in Cotulla, La Salle, Texas.⁴⁵⁶ She is buried in Cotulla Cemetery, La Salle County, Texas.⁴⁵⁶

Claude H. Rock

Funeral for Claude H. Rock, 87, of Tynan, Tex., father of Claude H. Rock Jr. of Abilene, was held Sunday in Cotulla Baptist Church with burial in Cotulla.

Mr. Rock, a resident of Cotulla more than 50 years, died Friday in a Sinton hospital. Engaged in the farm-ranch industry, he had lived in Tynan, in Bee County, for four years.

Other survivors include another son, Jesse Herndon Rock of Floresville; a daughter, Mrs. Richard R. Hardin of Tynan; a sister, Miss Ruby Rock of Sabinal; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
