JOHN E. WEBSTER

John E. Webster, 83, who lived at 2211 Oakdale Road, Hillsborough, with his daughter, died Monday at Mills Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

He was a native of San Francisco, and a resident of the Peninsula 40 years. He had been an accountant with a San Francisco investment company, and had a long career with the Anglo-London-Paris bank.

Survivors include his daaughter, Mrs. John B. Lagen; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Ward, Palo Alto, and Mrs. Rita Jewett., Eugene, Ore.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was a past master of the Presidio Masonic Lodge and a founding member of the First Presbyterian Church of Burlingame.

Memorial services will be held Saturdat at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Epixcopal Church, Burlingame, with the Crosby-N. Gray Chapel in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity. Inurnment was at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park.
