George E. Sheffer

Services for George E. Sheffer, 80 years old, who died Saturday in Los Angeles, Calif., will be held Saturday at 1:30 p. m. at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr funeral home. Rev. H. M. Cobb will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 ]p. m.

A former Richmond resident he resided at 461 South West Third street until leaving for California this past summer.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Edith Sheffer, one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Bomen, Los Angeles, two brothers, Henry Sheffer of Williamsburg and Orville Sheffer of New Castle; two sisters, Mrs. Winfield Hancock, Richmond and Mrs. Paul Bryan, Indianapolis, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
