LAGRANGE, Ind., June 28 — Miss Anna Rowe, of Lagrange, Ind., and Walter C. Spangenburg, of Sturgis, Mich., were married Wednesday at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Rowe. Mrs. Spangenburg was a graduate of the class of 1918 of Lagrange. They will make their home at Muskegon, Mich., where the groom has employment.

Anna Catherine Spangenberg, 87, formerly of 1033 Cato Lane, Sturgis, died Aug. 20, 1986, at Rose Lawn Manor Nursing Home, Lansing, following an eight-month illness.
She was born April 13, 1899, in LaGrange, Ind., a daughter of Laora and Anna (Ballou) Rowe.
On June 26, 1918, she married Walter C. Spangenberg in LaGrange. He died May 5, 1981.
She was a Sturgis resident since her marriage and before that she lived in LaGrange. She was a lifelong homemaker and a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service, several senior citizen organizations and a life member of the Sturgis First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Beverly Studeman, Lansing; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter.
Relatives and friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Foglesong Funeral Home, Sturgis, where the family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today. Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange, with the Rev. Edward Boase officiating.
Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
