Miss Lura Rowe entertained at a 6:30 dinner Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Clifford Cunningham at 1225 South Twenty-first street, at which she announced that her marriage to R. Ernest Ziegler will take place on Sunday, out of the city. The twelve guests were seated at one table which was attractive with decorations in the pastel shades. The announcement was made on little cards attached to bells in corsages which were the favors.

R. Earnest Zeigler, 79, a retired executive secretary of the YMCA Foundation in Detroit, died Wednesday at his home in Detroit.
He had worked with the YMCA for 60 years, 27 of them in the Detroit area.
Mr. Zeigler was a life member of the Detroit Commandry No. 1, Knights Templar, and a member of the Blue Lodge, F & AM, the Clinton Chapter of the Royal Arch Masons and Imperial Lodge No. 269 of Iowa. He was also a member of the Redford United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Redford United Methodist Church, 22400 Grand River. Burial will be Monday in Lagrange, Ind.
Memorials may be sent to the D. B. Zeigler Student Loan Foundation, Soutwestern College, Winfield.
