PERU, Ind., April 19—Suit for divorce has been filed in Miama circuit court by Mrs. Letha L. Kaufman, of Converse, alleging that her husband, Walter Kaufman, abandoner her on September 27, 1932. The couple, who have one son, 20, were married on September 22, 1917.

CONVERSE — Final rites for Mrs. Letha Leona Allen, 75, who died at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday at her home, will be at 10:30 Saturday at the Converse Christian church, with the Reverend S. E. Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Converse cemetery.
The body will be returned from the Laird funeral home, Amboy, to the residence, where friends may call after noon today.
Survivors are the husband, Frank Allen; one daughter, two son; one brother, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

Frank E. Allen, 88, 1407 Winona Ave., Marion, died at 5 a.m. THursday at a Marion nursing home. He had been in ill health for several months.
Born in Howard County, Mr. Allen had farmed for many years. He was a member of the Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving are three son, Everett, Marion, Herman, LaFontaine, and Harold, North Manchester; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Napier, Pennsauken, N.J.; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Needham and Son Funeral Home, 814 S. Adams St., the Rev. Jerrel Gallaway officiating. Burial will be in the Parklawn Cemetery, Amboy.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
