STAMBAUGH, Lorine Nona Whitaker
Born May 2, 1914, in Cedar Creek, Nebraska, and passed away peacefully on May 28, 2010 in Sacramento. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ethel Whitaker, and brothers Frank, Dwight and Richard. Survived by sister-in-law Arlene Whitaker, nephews Ron, Rick, Tom and Tim Whitaker, and nieces Jackie Whitaker and Lu Ann Hall. Lorine was a resident of Sacramento for nearly 70 years and a retiree of Cal Western Life Insurance Company. She was a member of Rising Star Chapter No. 36 O.E.S., West Minister Presbyterian Church and Entre Amies Club. Lorine was a long time volunteer at Sutter Memorial Hospital and loved to play bridge and travel with her friends. Her elegant ways and kind heart will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society in her name.
