Engineer Active In Church, Masons

Wilbur F. Stanley, 74, 1704 Penn Rd., active in church and masonic affairs, died today in Medical College Hospital.

Mr. Stanley was a customer engineer for the IBM Corp. 24 years, retiring 10 years ago.

He was past president of the Wesleyan Chorus of Monroe Street United Methodist Church, a past master of Barton Smith Lodge, F&AM, and was secretary more than a decade for the Toledo Masonic Bowling League. He was also a member of Toledo Chapter, RAM; Toledo Council R & SM, and St. Omer Commandery, Knights Templar. He attended Kent State University and was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University.

Surviving are his wife, Pauline; daughters, Mrs. Donna Lou Johnson and Mrs. Barbara Lee Picett, and sister Mrs. Myra Ewing.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Foth Morturary, Sylvania Avenue, where the boday will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
