Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Geraldine Senft, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Senft, 2009 West Philadelphia street, to James H. Stauch, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Stauch, 1921 West Philadelphia street. The ceremony was performed last Sunday, April 11, in Trinity Lutheran church at Hagerstown, Md. by the Rev. Wilson P. Ar. The bride wore a pale blue suit, navy blue top coat, navy blue accessories. Her flowers were a corsage of red roses. Miss Marion Stauch, sister of the bridegroom, was maid of honor. Lewis Stauch was best man for his brother. Miss June Stauch, another sister of the bridegroom attended the wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Stauch will reside at the home of the bride.

James H. Stauch

James H. Stauch, of 2010 Orange St., an employe of the Lehigh Cement Co., died at 7 a.m. Saturday at his home, at age 61. He was the husband of Geraldine (Senft) Stauch.

The service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Robert F. Koller Funeral Home Inc., 2000 W. Market St. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. There will be no viewing.

Mr. Stauch was born in West Manchester Township, the son of the Late Henry and Catherine (Lucabaugh) Stauch. He was a member of the Viking Athletic Association, of Lincolnway Fire Company, and of the Rooster Club.

Mr. Stauch also is survived by a daughter, Susan M. Stauch, 950 W. Princess St.; three sons, James H. Stauch Jr., 2006 W. Philadelphia St., Raymond E. Stauch, Red Lion RD 2, and Patrick A. Stauch, 819 Taxville Road; two grandchildren, four sisters, Marion Rose, Cairo, Ill.; June Szezepanck and Elizabeth Thomas, both of York, and Doris Lau, Washington, N. J.; three brothers, Ralph Stauch and Raymond Stauch, both of York, and Donald Stauch, Manchester.

The Rev. Douglas Lyons, pastor of the York Gospel Center, will conduct the service.

Geraldine M. "Gerry" Stauch, 85, died Saturday, August 21, 2010, at Manor Care Kingston Court. She was the wife of the late James H. Stauch.

She was retired from York Tape & Label Co.

Born in Spring Grove, on January 29, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William R. and Mary K. (Gibbons) Senft.

She attended First Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Amateur Radio Club.

She is survived by three sons, James H. Stauch, Jr. of York, Raymond E. Stauch of Key West, Fla., and Patrick A. Stauch of York; two granddaughters, Traci L. McIntosh of Orlando, Fla., and Jamie M. Gross of York; and two great-granddaughters, Paige G. Gross and Gabriel E. Gross, both of York. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan M. Stauch.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Family and friends should meet at the entrance to the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. The Koller Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 2000 W. Market St., York, is entrusted with the arrangements.
