Miss Mary K. Gibbons, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Gibbons, Hanover, R. D. 4, and William R. Senft, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Senft, Spring Grove, R. D. 1, were united in marriage in the parsonage of the West Manheim Lutheran charge, Pleasant street, on Saturday evening at 7 o'clock. The Rev. A. M. Hollinger officiated at the wedding, using the ring ceremony of the Lutheran church. Mr. and Mrs. Senft will take up housekeeping in the near future in York.

William R. Senft

William R. Senft, 74, husband of Mrs. Mary Gibbons Senft, 20009 W. Philadelphia St., died suddenly Saturday at his summer home in Upper Stroudsburg, Pa.

He was a member of St. Peter's (Leschy's) Lutheran Church, Spring Grove, and Lincolnway and Reliance Fire Companies. He was a retired employe of the Blue Bird Silk Mill, having worked there 34 years. He was a son of the late Edwin W. and Amanda Ziegler Senft.

Surviving also are a daughter, Mrs. James H. Stouch, 2010 Orange St.; four grandchildren; three brothers, Lloyd Senft, Allentown; Vernie Senft, Chambersburg; and France E. Senft, Stoverstown; and two sisters, Mrs. Harvey Senft, 533 E. Philadelphia St., and Mrs. Homer Klinedinst, 1835 Filbert St.

His pastor, Rev. Dr. Kenneth Ehrhart, will officiate at the funeral Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Robert F. Koller Funeral Home, 2000 W. Market St. Burial will be in St. Peter's (Leschy's) Union Cemetery.

YORK — Mary K. Senft, 96, of West Manchester Township, died Wednesday at York County Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late William R. Senft.

The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's (Lischey's) United Church of Christ, Lischey's Church Road, Spring Grove, RD 5. Burial will be in Lischey's Cemetery.

Viewing will be 10 to aa a.m. Saturday at the church. The Robert F. Koller Funeral Home Inc., 2000 W. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Senft was born Aug. 27, 1903, in York County. She was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Mary Estelle (Boyer) Gibbons.

She retired from Woolworth's downtown store, where she was a floor manager. Prior to that, she was a seamstress for York Suit Co. She was a member of St. Peter's (Lischey's) United Church of Christ and American Association of Retired Persons.

Mrs. Senft is survived by a daughter, Geraldine M. Stauch of York; three grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, a brother, John Gibbons of New Oxford and a sister, Edna Thoman of York. Mrs. Senft was preceded in death by a granddaughter.

Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Arthur Grahe.
