For Betrothed Couple

Miss Julia Annette Green, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philamon Ballou Green who will wed Jack Stephenson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur L. Stephenson Saturday at high noon, is the inspiration for several pre-nuptial parties.

Members of Alpha Sigma Alpha gave a party Thursday for Miss Green at the home of Dorothy Wright.

Don Masters honored Miss Green and Mrs. Stephenson Saturday night at a bridge party. The honored guests were presented with a handsome gift.

Miss Mary Couvrette is entertaining tonight at dinner in her home in honor of the popular betrothed couple.

VOWS TAKEN AT HIGH NOON IN RESIDENCE

A quiet home ceremony solemnized yesterday at high noon united Miss Julia Annette Green, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philamon Ballou Green, 3792 Thirty-first st., and Jack Stephenson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur L. Stephenson. The Rev. G. Fred Williams officiated.

The attractive bride, attired in white starched chiffon over brocaded satin, carried lilies of the valley and wore a dainty orange blossom bandeau.

Mrs. Harry E. Rodgers, sister of the bride, sang "Cloths of Heaven" and "The Birds No More Shall Sing," accompanied by Christine Hayler.

Following a charmingly appointed breakfest, Mr. and Mrs. Stephenson left for a brief motor trip. They will reside at Third and Fir sts. The bride's traveling ensemble was a smart brown and white silk costume, with white accessories.

Miss Eugenia Little of Long Beach was among the out of town guests.
