ABRAHAM WOOD SYLVESTER, son of LUCINA WOOD and AMOS RALPH SYLVESTER, was born April 30, 1838 in Illinois,⁷⁰²⁴ and died November 12, 1899 in Garfield, Polk, Wisconsin.^{7024, 8530} He is buried in Amery Cemetery, Polk County, Wisconsin.⁴⁵⁶

He married JULIA TATRO on July 27, 1862 in Sylvester, Polk, Wisconsin.⁴⁸¹⁸ She was born April 8, 1840,⁴⁵⁶ and died October 19, 1905 in Polk County, Wisconsin.^{456, 8530} She is buried in Amery Cemetery, Polk County, Wisconsin.⁴⁵⁶

Abraham Sylvester, an old pioneer of Green County, died at his residence at Gerunda, Wisconsin last Sunday. He moved from the town of Sylvester 27 years ago. He was a brother of Moses Sylvester.
