Charles W. Taylor

Charles W. Taylor, 80, 210 South Ninth St., died at Reid Memorial Hospital Saturday night. He was employed by the American Express Co. for 40 years, retiring about 1948.

Survivors include the widow, Cora.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Jones and Placke Funeral Home.

Services for Mr. Taylor will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Jones & Placke Funeral Home, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Rev. Forrest Brock, pastor of Frist Christian Church, will officiate and burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.

Mr. Taylor was a member of the Richmond Lodge of Masons, No. 196, and the Moose and Eagles Lodges.

Masonic memorial services for Charles W. Taylor will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Cora F. Taylor

Cora F. Taylor, 92, formerly of 210 S. Ninth St., died Wednesday afternoon at Jenkins Hall in Reid Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

She was a lifelong resident of Richmond. Her husband, Charles W. Taylor, died in 1968.

Survivors include three nieces, Alice Connerton and Susan Mahan, both of Richmond and Florence Blomeyer of Port Huron, Mich.

Graveside service for Cora F. Taylor will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Lutherania Cemetery, with the Rev. Richard Blose officiating.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
