John Taylor and Miss Nellie Walker were married at the home of the bride's parents at Fountain City, on last Thursday, by the Rev. Mr. Blackford, of that place. In common with the balance of John's friends we extend congratulations.

John H. Taylor, 81 years old, well-known retired Richmond businessman residing at 210 South Ninth Street, died late Thursday afternoon at Reid Memorial Hospital of a complication of diseases following a week's illness. He was a well-known figure in the business district of the city, of which he was a native and lifelong resident.
Mr. Taylor was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Taylor, pioneer Richmond residents, and was born Oct. 2, 1855. For many years Mr. Taylor bought and sold horses and became widely known among farmers in eastern Indiana and western Ohio.
Always active in Republican politics, Mr. Taylor, during one of the administrations of Mayor W. W. Zimmerman served as marketmaster. He also was identified with the county Republican organization for many years and attended several state conventions as a delegate. He was a charter member and past dictator of the Richmond Masonic Lodge, and also was a member of the Red Men's Lodge.
Surviving are the widow and one son, Charles W. Taylor, Richmond.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday, at Unser & Waltermann Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. J. E. Jones will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6:30 P. M., Friday. Members of the Moose Lodge will conduct services at 7:30 P. M. Friday.

Mrs. Nellie Taylor, 78 years old, widow of John Taylor, died at her home, 210 South Ninth street, early Saturday morning after a week's illness. Mrs. Taylor was born near New Madison in Darke county, Ohio, but had resided in this city for more than 50 years.
She is survived by her son, Charles, with whom she lived, and two sisters, Mrs. Dora Fry and Mrs. Margaret Fry, both of this city. Funeral arrangements will be announced.
Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Walker, pioneer Darke county residents.
