Miss Ruth N. Wallace and George W. Walden were married yesterday at the parsonage of the First Methodist church, Rev. Loomis officiating. The bride and groom were accompanied by Miss Leone Burwell and John Knapp intimate friends. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Wallace of 1029 Spruce Street, the groom is employed at the Arrowhead hospital. Many friends wish them happiness.

George Walter Walden, 63, of 1649 Garden Dr., died Monday at a San Bernardino hospital. A native of Georgia, he had resided in San Bernardino 39 years.
He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, and past president of Valley Lighthouse For the Blind.
Survivors include the widow, Ruth N.; two sons, Lewis G. and Lloyd E., San Bernardino; a daughter, Mrs. Atwell Culbreth, Waycross, Ga.; three brothers, Charles, Jacksonville, Fla; Jeff, Millwood, Ga., and L. A. Walden, Rialto; eight sisters, Mrs. Maude Coward, San Bernardino; Mrs. Vera Musgrove, Millwood; Mrs. Belle Cavender, Jacksonville; Mrs. Annie Davis, Waycross; Mrs. Hattie Smalik, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Verdie Thrift, Woodbine, Ga.; Mrs. Emily Rodgers, Taft, and Mrs. Grace Leinweber, West Palm Beach, Fla., and five grandchildren.
Services are pending at Stephens & Bobbitt Funeral Home.

Ruth N. Walden, 70, who came to the San Bernardino Valley in a covered wagon in 1908, died Monday in a San Bernardino hospital. She was an active life member of the San Bernardino Lighthouse for the Blind. Mrs. Walden, of 1649 Garden Drive, was born in Nebraska. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include two sons, Lewis G., of San Bernardino, and Lloyd, of Santa Rosa; a daughter, Mrs. Atwill Culbreth of Georgia; a brother, Arthur Wallace of San Bernardino; two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Brittain and Mrs. Gladys Byrd, both of San Bernardino, and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel with burial following at Mt. View Cemetery. The family requests remembrances be made in the form of donations to the Lighthouse for the Blind.
