Avery C. Warwick of Binghamton

Avery C. Warwick, 73, formerly of 59 Murray St., and Vestal, went to be with the Lord, Friday morning at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (LaVerne Llewellyn) Warwick, Binghamton; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Gordon and Dorothy Griggs, Conklin, Philip and Alta Nevelle Jr., Binghamton, LuAnne Warwick, Conklin; three sons and one daughter-in-law, thomas G. Smallcomb Jr., Vestal, David Avery, Binghamton, and Pfc. John E. (Laura) Warwick, US Army, West Point, NY; 12 grandchildren; one nephew, Ralph Transue, Johnson City; also one brother-in-law, Kenneth Palmer, Castle Creek; three sisters-in-law and three brothers-in law, residing in New Jersey; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a retired employe of IBM Corp., with 38 years of service. He was also a member of its Quarter Century Club and a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Vestal.

Funeral services are pending at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 199 Court St., where friends may call Saturday 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 130 Main St., Johnson City.
