CAREY-WAYBRIGHT NUPTIALS SOLEMNIZED SUNDAY

The marriage service for Miss Alice Carey, daughter of Mr. and MRs. J. E. Carey, of Adams, to Ralphy Waybright, of Lincoln, son of Mrs. Josephine Waybright, of Ashland, was read Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of the young couple, 2135 Bradfield drive. The Rev. Dr. Paul Johnston, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian church, read the lines before a group of sixty friends and relatives. Palms and early summer blossoms formed the background, with a seven branch candelabra of ivory tapers on either side.

Miss Esther Mills sand "At Dawning" and "Because" before the service. Mr. Ralph Noerrlinger of Fremont, a cousin of the bride, played the Lohengrin bridal chorus for the entrace of the group, preceding which Miss Mildred Knipple lighted the altar tapers.

The bride's only attendant was Miss Ida Salzman, who wore a knitted frock in cream tones. She carried Talisman roses. Guy Crook served Mr. Waybright as his best man.

Mrs. Waybright chose pale blue chiffon in an afternoon mode for her gown. Her flowers were Talisman roses. She entered with her father who gave her in marriage.

An informal reception followed. The lace covered table was centered with a low bowl of peonies. Miss Hazel Lindley presided at the punch bowl and Miss Grace Tapley cut the ices.

When they return from their wedding trip, the young couple will make Lincoln their home.

Guests from out of the city were Mrs. Josephine Waybright, Ashland; Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Carey, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Carey and son Donald, and Cecil Carey, Adams; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Carey and daughter, Wilma, and Mr. and Mrs. F. T. Steele and son, Jule, DeWitt.
