Miss Sara C. Weaver, of this city, was united in marriage Saturday evening at 8 o'clock at the parsonage of Stevens Memorial Methodist Episcopal church, to Mr. Charles P. Shutt, of this city, the Rev. Dr. Charles C. McLean officiating. Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Machamer, Jr., were the witnesses. Mr. Shutt is an engineer of a fire department in the city.

Charles P. Shutt, 51, veteran driver of city fire apparatus, died at 1 o'clock this morning at his home, 1824 North Cameron street, after an illness of several months from a complicaiton of diseases.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sarah Shutt; two daughters, Harriet Mae and Anna Evelyn; a son, Charles, Jr.; a sister, Mrs. Fannie Meyers, and two brothers, Harry, Estherton, and Martin, Carlisle.
Mr. Shutt was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the State Firemen's Association, Shamrock Fire Company, Dauphin County Firemen's Association and Fire Drivers' Association.
Until his recent illness he was a driver stationed at the Shamrock company, Fifteenth and Herr streets. He was a driver for the Paxton company for six years.
Funeral services will be held at the home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. C. Harry Lefever and the Rev. William T. Swain, Jr., officiation. Burial will be in the East Harrisburg Cemetery.

Sara W. Shutt, 93, of 7813 Appleby Road died yesterday in Blue Ridge Haven East, Susquehanna Twp.
She was the widow of Charles P. Shutt. Surviving are two daughters, Harriett M. Cartwright and Anna E. Prowell, both of Harrisburg; two sisters, Verna Pardoe of New Cumberland, and Dorothy Zeigler of Dauphin; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Geigle Funeral Home, Susquehanna Twp. Burial will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
