STANLEY E. WEBSTER

MATTOON — Stanley E. Webster, 57, of rural Mattoon died at 7:46 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 10, 1977) in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, with burial in Dodge Grove Cemetery. Rev. John Savoree will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m Tuesday.

Mr. Webster was born Sept. 12, 1919, in Mattoon, the son of Stanley Emmit and Izela Gullion Webster Sr. He married Maxine Fleming June 26, 1943, in Mattoon. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Max of Humboldt and Michael D. of rural Mattoon; four daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Jane) Brien of San Antonio, Texas; Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Berry, Mrs. William (Loralee) Gilliam and Mrs. Kelly Santiago, all of Mattoon; two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Dolores) Brumleve of Milwaukee, Wis.; and Mrs. Alvin (Helen) Alwardt of Mattoon; and eight grandchildren.

He was a member of Mattoon Moose Lodge 803, Eagles Lodge 3438 and United Auto Workers Local 1262. He was a machine operator for Young Radiator Co.
