Bonnie Lee Flora Woolf, beloved wife, sister and aunt, passed away May 8, 1998, in Santa Monica, Calif., after a short illness, having previously survived two significant malignancies.
Bonnie Lee was born August 5, 1923, to Howard P. and LaVon Davis Flora in Salt Lake City. She married Richard M. Woolf early in his FBI career, June 26, 1950, in Savannah, Georgia. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard of Santa Monica, California; sister, Patricia (George) Hinckley of Salt Lake City; nieces, Pamela (Alan) Huff, Tucson, Ariz., and Jody (John) Elsholz, Millcreek, Wash.; as well as Salt Lake City niece and nephew, Erin (Robert) Bowers, and Kevin Hinckley.
Our dear Bonnie Lee is remembered for her vivacity and beauty, her love of all things beautiful, and her penchant for remembering birthdays, anniversaries, and achievements of friends and family members.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 13, 1998, at 2 p.m., at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, where family and friends may call one-half hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of floral offerings, the family suggests contributions in Bonnie's behalf to the American Cancer Society, 941 East 3300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84106.

Richard McCarthy Woolf passed away September 27, 2005 in Los Angeles, CA, at age 86, from complications of a stroke. He was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada April 24, 1919 to DeVoe Woolf and Marjorie McCarthy Woolf. When he was a young child his family moved from Raymond, Alberta, Canada to Salt Lake City, Utah. Although his parents spent their early years and early married life in Canada they were both born in the State of Utah. He attended public schools in Salt Lake City and graduated from the University of Utah in 1941 with a BA degree in English Literature. During World War II he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and rose to the rank of Lt(jg). Following the war he obtained a law degree (JD) in 1948 from the University of Utah and then served for 27 years as a special agent for the FBI. After retiring from that organization he was employed for 10 years as a special investigator for the State Bar of California. He married Bonnie Lee Flora in 1950, who preceded him in death in 1998. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, DeVoe M. Woolf (Helen), and Dr. Robert M. Woolf (Dorothy). He is survived by two sisters, Mary Green (Edway) Redd, Bountiful, Utah, Margery Woolf Nichols, Salt Lake City, Utah; and two brothers, Dr. Charles M. (Marion) Woolf, Mesa, Arizona, and Dr. John M. (Geraldine) Woolf, Tucson, Arizona. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Services are being handled by Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
