LACROSSE — Services for Robert W. Bruder, 74, of 502 Dominic, who died Monday in Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Kosanke Funeral Home, Kouts. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to LaCrosse Lions Club.
Mr. Bruder retired in 1987 as owner/operator of LaCrosse Plumbing and Heating. He was bron Feb. 22, 1922, in LaCrosse. On Dec. 28, 1949, in LaCrosse, he married Wilma Meiss. She survives with two daughters, Cheryl Stevens Young of Chandler, Ariz., and Bobbi Richlen of LaPorte; a son, Richard of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Ina Mae Heinold of LaCrosse, Mary Carpenter of Wanatah and Joyce Pumroy of Kouts; and two brothers, Russell of LaCrosse and Melvin of Westville. He was a member of the Lions Club and Moose Lodge 980, Michigan City, and was a former LaCrosse volunteer fire fighter.
