She was born October 1, 1883 in Indiana,⁵⁶ and died October 25, 1978 in Rogers, Benton, Arkansas. She is buried in Mackinaw Township Cemetery, Tazewell County, Illinois.^{456, 4241}

To Hold Open House Sunday

MACKINAW — (PNS) — Mr. and Mrs. James R. Conard of near Mackinaw will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday with open house from 2 to 5 p. m. at their home.

Mr. and Mrs. Conard were married March 8, 1905 at the Pontiac Methodist Church. Mrs. Conard is the former Della May Street.

MACKINAW—(PNS)—James R. Conard, 78, a retired farmer, died at his home at 5:50 a. m. Thursday following a long illness.

He was taken to the Haensel Funeral Home where his funeral will be at 2 p. m. Sunday, with the Rev. John Knibb officiating. Burial will be in Mackinaw Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Saturday afternoon at the funeral home.

Surviving are his wife; and two brothers, Irwin of Mackinaw and Oscar of 612 W. Graham St. Bloomington.

Della Conard

MACKINAW (PNS)—Della M. Conard, 95, Rogers, Ark., a former Mackinaw resident, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Leisure Lodge, Rogers.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Haensel Funeral Home, the Rev. Phillip Woodworth officiating. Burial will be in Mackinaw Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m.today.

She was born Oct. 1, 1883, in Indiana, a daughter of Chauncey and Julia Garrett Street. She married James Conard March 8, 1905, in Pontiac. He died March 19, 1959.

Surviving are a daughter, Leota McGee, Rogers, Ark.; a sister, Alberta Stang, Pontiac; six grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Conard was a member of Mackinaw Christian Church.
