SPRING GROVE — Miriam L. (Shearer) Myers, 82, of Spring Grove RD 6, died at 7:50 a.m. Thursday at Hanover General Hospital. She was the wife of Raymond E. Myers. The couple were married 61 years.
The service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Sauter-Irwin Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove. Burial will be in Trinity (Roth's) Church Cemetery. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Myers was born Jan. 13, 1913, in Berwick Township, Adams County. She was the daughter of the late George D. and Della M. (Sheaffer) Shearer.
She was a member of Trinity (Roth's) United Church of Christ, Spring Grove RD 4.

SPRING GROVE — Raymond E. Myers, 85, of Spring Grove RD 6, died at 3:45 a.m. Friday at Hanover Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Miriam L. (Shearer) Myers, who died Jan. 26, 1995.
The service will be 2 p..m. Sunday at the Sauter-Irwin Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove. Burial will be in Trinity (Roth's) Church Cemetery in Spring Grove RD 4. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Myers was born Sept. 2, 1911, in Jackson Township. He was the son of the littleport and Mabel (Becker) Myers.
He retired from P.H. Glatfelter Pulp Wood Co. in Spring Grove, where he was a foreman. He also farmed in Jackson Township of 25 years. He was a member of Trinity (Roth's) United Church of Christ in Spring Grove RD 4.
Mr. Myers is survived by a son, R. Laverne Myers of East Berlin RD 1; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Albert Myers Jr. of Spring Grove RD4 and Sterling L. Myers of Spring Grove RD 3; and two sisters, Catherine Dickensheets of Hanover and Dorothy Stavely of Spring Grove RD 6.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Kenneth D. Cherry, pastor of Mount Zion United Church of Christ in Spring Grove.
