JOHN MAURICE ZINN, son of MINERVA K. MYERS and SAMUEL F. ZINN, was born August 5, 1927 in Jackson Township, York, Pennsylvania,⁷³⁷⁷ and died August 24, 2013.⁴⁵⁶ He is buried in Trinity Roths United Church of Christ Cemetery, Spring Grove, York, Pennsylvania.⁴⁵⁶

He married SALLYANN ETHEL ZIMMERMAN on September 22, 1950 in Westminster, Carroll, Maryland.¹⁰⁰⁰¹

ZINN—ZIMMERMAN

Miss Sallyann Zimmerman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Zimmerman, Jr., of Somerset county, became the bride of John Zinn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Zinn of Thomasville last Friday at Westminster, Md. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Edmund Lippy, pastor of St. James Evangelical and Reformed church, Westminster. The bride wore a green satin dress with black accessories and an orchid corsage. The couple was attended by the bridegroom's parents. A reception was held at the home of the bridegroom following the ceremony. The bride is a graduate of the Berlin-Brother Valley High school in Somerset county and attended Thompson's Business school, York. She is now employed at the naval ordnance plant in York. The bridegroom attended the West York High school and was employed until recently at the garage of the Luckenbaugh Chevrolet Company, Spring Grove. He was recently inducted into the armed forces.
