The marriage of Miss Corina Hawkins and Robert Becker took place during quiet rites performed at ten o'clock Thursday morning at the St. Vincent's rectory, with the Right Reverend Monsignor John P Schall officiating at the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mrs. Jackson L. Hawkings, of 2727 East Broadway, city, and the late Mr. Jackson; and Mr. and Mrs. John Becker, of Rochester.
Mrs. Richard Burk, of 1001 North street, attended the bride as matron of honor while Richard Burk of 3226 North Pennsylvania avenue, city, served as best man.
A reception for members of the immediate families and a few close friends was held immediately following the service at the home of the bride. The couple left for a short wedding trip, and upon their return, they will establish residence at 3130 North Pennsylvania avenue.
The bride is employed at Indiana Bell telephone company and her husband is chief engineer at the Logan Machine company in this city.

Graveside services for Robert E. Becker, 73, Rt. 4, Logansport, were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
He died at 3:25 p.m. Friday at his residence.
Born July 12, 1905, in Rochester, he was the son of John and Mary Hanna Becker. He was married June 19, 1953, in Logansport to Corina Hawkins, who survives.
He was a retired employee of Logansport Machine Company and a member of the Elks Lodge.
Surviving with the wife are one son, Jack, Rt. 4; one daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Ann Roe, of Logansport; the mother, Mrs. Mary Becker, of Rochester; one brother, DeVerel, of Rochester; and one sister, Mrs. Fred Miller, also of Rochester.
The Rev. Raymond Skelton officiated at the services. Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Becker died at 9:25 a.m. Sunday in Chase Center.
Born April 8, 1918, in St. Louis, Mo., she was the daughter of Jackson L. and Kathryn Irvine Hawkins. On June 18, 1953, she was married to Robert E. Becker, who died July 14, 1978.
Mrs. Becker, a homemaker, was a member of the Baptist Temple.
Surviving are one son, R. Jackson Becker, Royal Center; one daughter Kathryn Ann Rose,Lafayette; one sister, Ruth L. Shoop, Logansport; and one granddaughter.
One sister preceded in death.
Officiating at the services was the Rev. Roger Barnes.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Chase Center Aviary Fund or a favorite charity.
