He married (1) ELIZABETH MARY HILL on February 6, 1946 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky.12818 She was born March 15, 1911 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky,4931 and died January 23, 1991 in New Albany, Floyd, Indiana.4931 She is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky.456

He married (2) JEANNE BERYLDEAN MARXSEN on July 17, 1971.11310 She was born April 3, 1921 in Colfax County, Nebraska,9510 and died May 30, 2011.56 She is buried in Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, Brevard, Florida.456

Hill—Bischof

The marriage of Miss Elizabeth M. Hill and Mr. William Nelson Bischof was solemnized at 8 o'clock yesterday morning in St. James Church. The Rev. Raymond G. Hill, brother of the bride, performed the ceremony.

The bride wore a Duchess satin gown. The full skirt ended in a court train over which fell her veil of imported illusion held by a coronet of pearls. She carried a bouquet of gardenias and stephanotis.

Miss Justine F. Hill was the maid of honor, wearing a powder blue taffeta and net gown. Miss Helen M. Hill, junior bridesmaid wore a similar gown in shell pink. They carried French bouquets.

Mr. Alois Weidekamp was the best man and Messrs. Charles O'Feefe and J. W. Callahan were ushers.

A breakfast was given at The Puritan. After a wedding trip to Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Bischof will make their home in Nebraska City, Neb.

Mrs. Jeanne Teter and William Bischof Wed

Mrs. Jeanne Teter, Omaha, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marxsen and William N. Bischof, Omaha, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bischof, Nebraska City, were married July 16.

Rev. Jack Davis officiated at the 8 p. m. ceremony at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Omaha. Miss Joan Clark, organist, played the traditional wedding marches.

Mrs. Larry Faltys, Columbus was matron of honor. Laura Ann Faltys, Columbus was flower girl and Lynn Faltys, ring bearer. The bridegroom's attendant was Irvin Frodyma, Omaha. Ushering the guests were Bob Baxter, George and Steve Bischof, Omaha and Ken Marxsen, Rogers.

They were honored at a reception at Wesley Hall at the church following the ceremony. Decorations were in the bride's chosen colors of pink and blue.

The bride is employed as an industrial nurse at Western Electric. Mr. Bischof is employed as an electrician at Union Pacific Headquarters.

Following a two-week wester trip they will be at home at 3334 So. 104th Ave., Omaha.

Relatives attending were Messrs. and Mmes. Frank Marxsen, Robert Marxsen and family, Leland Marxsen, Maxine and Gail, jack Marxsen and Bill Marxsen.

William N. "Bill" Bischof

NIXA - William N. "Bill" Bischof, 85, Nixa, passed away Monday, May 15, 2000, in Christian Health Care, Nixa.

He was born April 25, 1915, in Pocatello, Idaho, and was the son of George and Katherine (Ritz) Bischof. He attended the University of Nebraska in Omaha. Mr. Bischof served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and in the Korean War. On July 17, 1971, he and his wife Jeanne were married.

He retired as an engineer for Union Pacific Railroad in Omaha, Neb. He was a member of American Legion Post 676, Springfield, 40 and 8; and was a lifetime V.F.W member.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanne; a stepdaughter, Janet Faltys, Lincoln, Neb.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Bischof, San Jose, Calif., and George Bischof, Sun City, Ariz.; and three sisters, Lucille Gardner, Auburn, Wash., Virginia Chulpka, Frasier, Colo., and Margaret Bischof, Cheyenne, Wyo.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday , May 18, 2000, in the Committal Shelter of Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Mo., with Pastor Tommy Bilyeu officiating. Military honors will be provided. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
