He married EMELINE C. STANLEY on September 16, 1863 in Summit County, Ohio,^{1566, 2373} daughter of HANNAH CRANMER and DANIEL SUTHERLAND STANLEY. She was born July 18, 1841 in Northfield, Summit, Ohio,¹⁵³² and died July 16, 1933 in Edgewater, Volusia, Florida.¹⁵³² She is buried in Northfield Macedonia Cemetery, Summit County, Ohio.⁴⁵⁶
