Arthur N. Blair

Arthur N. Blair, 79, of 936 Ohio St., died Sunday noon at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He had lived in Lawrence for about 11 years.

Funeral services will be at 19 a.m. Tuesday in the Rumsey Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Walter Blackledge will be in charge of the services. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born Oct. 24, 1883, in Solomon, Kan. Blair held a membership in the First Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edith Blair, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Wood of Merriam; a son, Charles N. Blair of Los Angeles; a sister, Miss Harriet Blair, of 1340 Vt. St., and three grandchildren.

EDITH BLAIR

Mrs. Edith Blair, 83, of 936 Ohio, died Thursday at the home of her daughter Mrs. Helen Wood, Merriam.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rumsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Mallett officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born July 21, 1886 in Blue Mound, she is also survived by a son, Charles, of Tarzana, Calif., three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family prefers donations to First Presbyterian Church.
