She married CARR IRVINE FLOURNOY on September 3, 1938 in Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas,⁹⁰⁵³ son of ELIZABETH JAMES EDWARDS and SAMUEL IRVINE FLOURNOY. He was born April 7, 1916 in Missouri,²⁵⁰ and died September 6, 1994 in Fresno County, California.²⁵⁰ He is buried in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, Los Angeles, California.⁴⁵⁶
