MAXINE BOYCE LESTER, 69, of Grand Junction, a former Fountain resident, died Sunday in Grand Junction.
No services will be conducted at her request.
Mrs. Lester was born Sept. 17, 1919, in Fort Morgan, to Archie and Elsie Boyce. She moved to Fountain in 1929 and graduated from Fountain High School.
Mrs. Lester is survived by a son, Ronald of Sebastopol, Calif.; a daughter, Patricia Todd of Fortuna, Calif.; three brothers, Robert Boyce of Pueblo Donald Boyce of Houghton, Iowa; two sisters, Esther Tull of Grand Junction and Barbara McGuire of Fountain; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a brother, Archie Boyce Jr., and a sister, Marjorie Gregory.
