MILTON — Nathaniel H. Burns, 82, of 1136 Lincoln St. died Friday afternoon, April 17, 1992, at his home.
He was born Nov. 17, 1909, in Milton, a son of the late Harvey and Grace (Dagnell) Burns. In 1932, he married the former Edna Walker.
Mr. BUrns retired in 1973 after 38 years as a chipper with American Car and Foundry Co., Milton.
He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Milton, for more than 50 years. He was also a member of the Dividing Ridge Hunting Club, near Muncy.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Richard of St. Charles, Mo., and Dennis of Augusta, Ga.; a daughter, Sandra Doebler of Levintown; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 127 N. Front St., Milton, by the Rev. Joseph S. Gentilman.
Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.
Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
