PHILIP S. COLTON

Philip Stanley Colton, 63, of 2236 West Hill street, died yesterday at his home. He was born in Woonsocket, S. D., and came to Long Beach three months ago from San Angelo, Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist church at Sherman, Texas, and is survived by the widow, Mrs. Evelena Colton, Long Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Emily Serena, Long Beach, and Mrs. Dorothy Guerker, San Diego; three sons, Robert Colton, Chadwick Colton, Dallas, Texas, and Patrick Colton, San Angelo, Texas.

Mrs. Evelena Colton

Mrs. Evelena Colton, 69, of 1117 Madison Ave., died in a hospital Wednesday. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. today in Benbough Mortuary. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Colton, who lived here 15 years, was a member of San Diego Aerie 244, Eagles Lodge, which named her its Honorary Mother in 1959. She also was a member of the Borrowed Time Club.

Surviving are two daughters, including Mrs. Dorothy Guerker of San Diego; three sons, including Patrick T. of Spring Valley; a sister, 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
