Wright-Coston

In a double ring ceremony performed at 4 o'clock the evening of August 15 Miss Kathryn Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burman Wright of Skidmore, became the bride of William F. Coston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Coston, also of Skidmore. The ceremony was performed at the Skidmore Methodist church by the Rev. William H. Thompson, pastor.

Miss Erma Coston and Mrs. Vern Markham, accompanied by Miss LaVena Coston, sang "Always" and "Until the End of Time." They are sisters of the bridegroom. Miss LaVena Coston played the traditional wedding march.

The bride wore a white two-piece linen dress with scalloped sleeves. She wore a brooch and earrings which were gifts of the bridegroom. Her corsage was made of roses and baby breath.

Miss Wilma Wright, sister of the bride, was the maid-of-honor. She wore an aqua two-piece crepe dress styled similar to the bride's dress. Her accessories were brown and tan and her corsage was make of pink roses, white asters and baby breath.

Evelyn June Wright, small sister of the bride, was the ring bearer.

Paul O'Riley acted as best man.

Mothers of the couple and the grandmothers, Mrs. David Wright and Mrs. William Taylor, wore corsages of white gardenias.

Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served at the home of the bride's parents.

After a wedding trip through the south part of the state Mr. and Mrs. Coston will leave for Los Animas, Colo., where they will make their home. Mr. Coston will become manager September 1 of a branch house of the Arkansas Valley Seed Co.

The bride is a graduate of Skidmore high school and attended the S T C three years. During the last six years she taught in the rural schools in Holt county and the elementary grades of the Quitman school.

Mr. Coston is a graduate of Cameron high school. He served three years in World War II of which two and one-half years were spent in the Southwest Pacific. The past two and one-half years he has been manager of the Coston Seed Co. in Skidmore.
