Robert Harvey Davison was born in Page county, Iowa, March 4, 1870, and passed away at his home, west of Hopkins, Feb. 25, 1870, at the age of 48 years, 11 months and 21 days. He was married to Margaret Belle Lasley in 1895. To this union was born seven children, two of whom have preceded the father in death. Those at home are Harvey, Lulu, Pearl, Harlan and Archie. Mr. Davison was united with the Christian church at 29 years of age. While not a member of any church at the time of his death, he was still a firm believer in the Bible. He was a good, kind husband and a loving father, ever ready to lend a helping hand. He will not only be missed in the home, but by all who knew him. He leaves to mourn his loss beside the wife and children, one sister, Mrs. Jane Webb of Hopkins, and one brother, Harley E. Davison, at Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The remains were taken to the Shearer cemetery where they were laid to rest to await the coming of the resurrection morn. Rev. Stiles of Hopkins being the officiating minister.

Mrs. Belle Margaret Davison, 82, Hopkins, died at 4 a. m. today at the Wallin Nursing Home, Clearmont, where she had been the past two weeks. Before that she was a patient at St. Francis Hospital. She had suffered a long illness.
Mrs. Davison was born Sept. 11, 1877, at Braddyville, Ia., the daughter of the late Eugene and Lydia Hamm Lasley. She was married Oct. 22, 1895, to Robert H. Davison, who died. She later married his brother, Rob Davison, in 1921. Mrs. Davison lived most of her life in the rural area around Hopkins, coming to Hopkins with her parents when she was only a year old. She was a member of the Highland Christian Church, formerly near Hopkins.
Her survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Homer Carmichael, Hopkins, and Mrs. Lloyd Atha, Chillicothe; three sons, Harvey Davison, Prescott, Ia.; Harlan Davison, Hopkins, and Archie Davison, Bedford, Ia.; 26 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Harlan Lasley, Hopkins; Rolland Lasley, Red Oak, Ia., and Clarence Lasley, Clarinda, Ia.; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Fine, Braddyville, Ia., and Mrs. Nevada Baker, St. Joseph;two step-daughters, Mrs. Byron Maffett, Braddyville, and Mrs. Ira Chesnut, Clearmont, and five step-sons, Roy, Wilbur, Homer, Virgil and Rolla Davison, all of Braddyville.
Funeral rites will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Hopkins Baptist Church. The Rev. walter Cox will officiate and burial will be in the Shearer Cemetery, Page County, Ia.
The body is at the Swanson Funeral Home, Hopkins.
