Evelyn C. Dean

TOPSFIELD — Evelyn C. (Cauffman) Dean, 91, of Topsfield and formerly of Waynesboro, Pa., passed away on Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Masconomet Health Care Center in Topsfield.

Evelyn was born in Mont Alto, Pa. to the late Harvey and Verna (Dull) Cauffman. Evelyn was a former Past Worthy Matron of Sandy Bay, Chapter 228, Order of the Eastern Star in Rockport, a member of the Pigeon Cove Massachusetts Circle and attended the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Waynesboro. She loved to sing and belonged to several choirs.

Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late William L. Dean, II with whom she shared 62 years of marriage and is survived by her children; William L. Dean, III and his wife Sharon of Milford, Virginia "Lynn" Hamilton and her life partner William Gianacoples of Georgetown, and Donna D. Farley and her husband Marvin of Ipswich; her five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her sister Frances Smith of Smithburg, Md., as well as her many nieces and nephews.
