William Dean Weds in Muncie

Announcement has been made of the marriage in Muncie, Indiana, of Miss Garnet Leona Baldridge and Mr. William Shands Dean. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Dean, of Harrisonburge, who has been in business in Muncie for some years.

The wedding took place Saturday evening, January 17, Rev. C. W. Sweet, an uncle of the groom, performing the ceremony. The only attendants were Miss Ethel Banks as maid of honor, and Mr. Charles Lindley Sweet, a cousin of the groom, as best man. A dinner was given by Mrs. C. W. Sweet after the ceremony in honor of the bride and groom. Mr. and Mrs. Dean will make their home in Muncie.

Mr. Dean was in Harrisonburg during the Christmas holidays to attend the marriage of his sister, Miss Mary Rives Dean, and Mr. Clayton Seabrook Willis.

William S. Dean, 61, Former Resident, Dies

Funeral services for William S. Dean, 61, former Muncie resident, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Pigeon Cove Chapel in Rockport, Mass. Mr. Dean died at his home in Rockport, Sunday. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Landsville, Mass.

Mr. Dean lived in Muncie prior to 1926. He was born in Harrisonburg, Va.

Among the survivors are the widow, Garnett; one son, William L.; and two daughters, Virginia and Mrs. Martha D. Roberts, all of Rockport; and three brothers and four sisters.
